This page records what changed on the site and in the guides, with the date. When a law, a rule or a data sheet changes and we update a guide, we write here what was changed and why. If you find a mistake or something out of date, tell us through the [contact page](https://paredecerta.pt/en/contact).

## 3 November 2026

First version of the site, with this content:

- **Paint calculator** on the home page: it draws the room and works out the area to paint and the litres of paint. How it works is in the [methodology](https://paredecerta.pt/en/methodology).
- **Wall form**, to describe your case and leave your contact details. At the moment we do not forward requests to painters.
- **Legal and transparency pages:** [privacy policy](https://paredecerta.pt/en/privacy-policy), cookie policy, terms of use, [methodology](https://paredecerta.pt/en/methodology) and [about the project](https://paredecerta.pt/en/about). Google Analytics is switched on only if you accept the analytics cookies.
- **First structure of the site.** The guides on preparation, paints, damp, mould, salt deposits, condominiums, renting and choosing a painter come next, and each one will be recorded here.
- **English version**, for people living in Portugal who do not read Portuguese.
- **Plain-text copy** of every page (add `.md` to the address) and a map for AI assistants at [/llms.txt](https://paredecerta.pt/llms.txt), with the access rules in robots.txt. The content may be read and cited by search and AI assistants, but not used to train models.

## How we record changes

- A change that alters what the reader should do (a deadline, an amount, a rule) is recorded here, with the date.
- Corrections of typos and links are not recorded.
- Every guide shows the date of its last review at the top.
