Who runs the site

What this site is

It is an information website about interior painting and damp walls. We explain topics such as how much paint you need, preparing walls, paints for each room, condensation, rising damp, water coming in, mould, salt deposits and choosing a painter, and we offer a calculator that draws the room to help you describe your case.

We do not do painting, we do not sell paint and we do not do building work. If you send the wall form, we read the request. We do not promise that a painter or a company will contact you, nor a reply time. Any works contract is made directly between you and the professional you choose, not with us.

Indicative information and values

The texts, the drawing and the calculated area and litres are informative and indicative. The area comes from a geometric calculation using the approximate sizes you type, and the litres depend on the paint coverage set in the calculator. It is not a measurement, a proposal or a quote. When the site shows prices, they come from named and dated sources; real prices depend on the paint, the sizes, the state of the walls, the region and who does the work. Always ask for a written quote.

We try to keep the information correct and up to date, but we do not guarantee that it is free of errors. For important decisions, check with a professional and with the official sources. A wall with signs of risk to people (widespread mould in a bedroom, cracks that keep growing, water near sockets or the fuse box) needs a specialist, not a website.
